New york nagaram
Has to be one of the best songs ever to have been composed by A.R.Rahman. He decided to sing it himself, as it had to be, can't think of any other singer better expressing the emotions and the feelings that go into it, only the composer himself could touch that untouched chord from the heart. The song is from the tamil movie "Jillendru Oru Kathal" starring Surya and Jyothika in the lead roles.

The english translation of the song follows, hope to do justice to the actual message. It's about a guy ho misses his wife as he happens to be alone in new york without her for the first time in years.
